(1) Masters, provide equal justice to servants, knowing that you have a Master in Heaven. (2) Pray constantly, being vigilant in it in thankfulness. (3) At the same time, pray also concerning us that God should open a door for the Word to speak the mystery of Messiah, on account of whom I have been bound, (4) in order that I should make it clear as He binds me to speak. (5) Walk in wisdom toward outsiders, redeeming the appointed season. (6) Let your words always be gracious, seasoned with salt, that you may know how to give an answer to each one. (7) Tychicus, a beloved brother, faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord, will fill you in on all my affairs. (8) For this reason I sent him to you, that you should know what concerns us, and that he should comfort your hearts, (9) together with Onesimus, the faithful and beloved brother who is one of you. He will make everything here known to you. (10) My fellow prisoner Aristarchus greets you, as well as Mark the cousin of Barnabas (concerning which you received a command: If he should come to you, receive him), (11) as well as Jesus, called Justus, those among the circumcision, these alone are coworkers in the kingdom of God; they have become a comfort to me. (12) Epaphras, a servant of Messiah from among you sends greetings, always contending on your behalf in prayer in order that you should be caused to stand mature, fully assured in the whole will of God. (13) For I testify on his behalf that he has labored much on account of you and on account of those in Laodicea and Hieropolis. (14) Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you. (15) The brothers in Laodicea, Nymphas, and the fellowship in his household greet you. (16) Whenever the letter might be read in your presence, you all should make sure it is read in the Laodicean Church; and read the letter from Laodicea. (17) And say to Archippus, “See to it that you fulfill the ministry which you received in the Lord.” (18) I, Paul, write you greetings with my very own hand. Remember my chains. Grace be with you all.
