GALATIANS 1
(1) Paul, an apostle sent not of men, nor through a man, but through Jesus the Messiah and through Father-God who raised Him from those who are dead, (2) and all the brothers with me, to all the churches of Galatia: (3) Grace and Peace (Shalom) to you from God our Father and our Lord Jesus, The Messiah, (4) Who gave himself for our sins in order that he might set us free from the Present Evil Age according to the will of our God and Father, (5) to Whom be Glory without end. Amen. (6) I continue wondering about how you have so quickly turned away from your Calling in the grace of Christ to another "Good News," (7) which is not another Good News, but some are troubling you and wanting to distort the Good News of Messiah; (8) But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should proclaim a "good news" to you other than the Good News we proclaimed to you, let him be accursed! (9) As we have said before, still I say again, if someone shared a "good news" beside what we received, he will be accursed! (10) Now, therefore, am I seeking the favor of men, or God? Or am I seeking to please men? Yet if I sought to please men I truly am not a slave of Messiah. (11) I am continually making known to you, brothers, sharing my Good News, that it is not according to man (12) for neither was I taught it, nor did I receive it from man, but as a revelation through Jesus the Messiah. (13) For you heard of my former way of life in Judaism, that, with much fervor, I was pursuing the Church of God, even to annihilate her, (14) progressing in Judaism beyond many of my peers in class, being even more zealous for the traditions of my fathers. (15) When God was well-pleased He consecrated me in my mother's womb and called me through his grace, (16) disclosing His Son to me in order that I might share Him among the various people-groups, immediately not adding to flesh and blood; (17) for I did not even go to Jerusalem to present myself before the Apostles. Rather, I went to Arabia and then I returned to Damascus. (18) Then after three years I went to Jerusalem and I visited Cephas and remained with him fifteen days. (19) But I did not see the other apostles except James the brother of the Lord. (20) This I write to you, honestly before God I am not lying, that (21) then I went into the district of Syria and of Cilicia, (22) indeed, being unknown to the churches of Judea, to those in Messiah. (23) Only, they heard that, "The one formerly persecuting us now shares The Faith which once he sought to annihilate," (24) and they gave thanks to God on account of me.
