1. In my distress I called out to Yahweh and he answered me.
2. Deliver me, O Yahweh, from deceitful lips, from a deceitful tongue. 
3. What will be given to you, and what shall be added to you, O tongue of deception?!
4. A warrior’s sharpened arrows with coals of the Spanish broom tree. 
5. Woe is me that I abide in Meshech, that I dwell near the tenths of Kedar.  
6. Too long has my soul dwelt with haters of peace. 
7. I am for peace but when I speak they are for war.
